Vriddhi, A Santa for the Children of Jagatpura

Vriddhi celebrated Christmas at Jagatpura Village near Mohali. The Function was presided by Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Professor In-Charge of Social Pediatrics at PGIMER. A Open Drawing and Painting Competition was conducted by Vriddhi with the help of BAMA Academy of Art. More than 70 children took part in the competition.

The occasion was also graced by renowned guests like Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur, Chief Town Planner, Panchkula and Dr. Kulbir Bal, Surgeon cum SMO, General Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh .Along with that, a general health and dental checkup was also conducted for all the children in the neighbourhood by PGI Doctors.

It was followed by a cultural performance by the students of Vriddhi School and ,speech and Prize Distribution by our Chairman, Col. N R Baberwal and our secretary cum organiser, Mrs. Pranita Biswas. The Event ended with Gifts and Cake distribution within the children.
